Alejandra Amegin is a trauma-informed certified yoga instructor, Speaker, Community Builder, U.S. Navy veteran, accomplished business owner, and Syracuse University alumna. As the founder and president of Jax Natural Healing and Vive Yoga Studio, the first Latina-owned yoga studio in Northeast Florida, Alejandra creates inclusive spaces for healing and personal transformation. She specializes in body-based therapies grounded in science, focused on healing cultural, generational, and sexual abuse trauma. Her work blends yoga, leadership development, and corporate wellness programs and retreats, with a commitment to advancing BIPOC Yoga instructors and fostering diversity in wellness leadership.

 

Alejandra is also the founder and president of Culturus Consulting, where she helps businesses create culturally competent marketing strategies and improve workplace communication. Her consulting work strengthens internal work culture and builds authentic connections with diverse audiences, particularly within the Hispanic U.S. market.

 

As the National Facilitator for Breaking Boundaries in Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Alejandra empowers underrepresented entrepreneurs by providing the tools and mentorship needed to overcome challenges and achieve lasting success.

 

Her journey from immigrant to entrepreneur is a testament to her resilience, passion for healing, and dedication to fostering inclusive environments and driving strategic growth.

Dorika Mamboleo Beckett is a highly accomplished business leader, entrepreneur, and investor who is also passionate about helping emerging entrepreneurs scale and grow their companies. With 20+ years in private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial management, she has invested in, founded, scaled, and led companies with over $2 billion in combined value through Vizx Corporation, her private holding company. Ms. Mamboleo Beckett began her career as a management consultant at Monitor Group, where she advised Fortune 500 companies. Committed to giving back, she holds board positions in publicly traded Velocity Financial Inc. (VEL-NYSE) and her family non-profit organization, The Imani & Baraka Foundation. Ms. Mamboleo Beckett received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Medical Doctor Emergency Resource Group and Center for Modern Aesthetic (CMA) Medicine 

Dr. Grippa is originally from Malverne, New York and is the single mother of three college aged children Madeline, Juliet, and Grayson. She has been practicing Emergency Medicine in Jacksonville,  Florida at Baptist Medical Center for the past 24 years, where she served as Chairman for Women in Medicine and enjoys precepting Nova Southeastern PA students and LECOM medical students during her busy ER shifts. She studied Biological Anthropology and played soccer at Harvard University, BA 93’, then obtained her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, MD 97’. 

 

Laura served as chief resident during her Emergency Medicine Residency at University of Florida, Jacksonville and graduated in 2001, awarded top resident teacher across all residents. Currently, she is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). While still practicing in the ED, Dr Grippa has joined Dr. Schallen at CMA Medicine Jacksonille’s premier laser and aesthetics practice and has developed a passion for aesthetic and laser medicine, where she treats a wide range of disease from skin rejuvenation, scars, acne, and many other aesthetic concerns.  With her broad based knowledge of general medicine she brings a wholistic approach to aesthetic medicine. 

 

Dr. Grippa also serves as “The Island Doctor” where she volunteers on Cat Cay island providing medical care to both members of the Cat Cay yacht club and Bahamian residents. Her passions include yoga, teaching, and mindfulness which she tries to incorporate in her daily life as well as in her practice of medicine. Her future plans are to become a concierge medical consultant, advocating for her clients as they navigate diverse and complex medical concerns.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Brenda is known for her transformative leadership and commitment to empowering her team and fostering long-term partnerships.

 

A passionate advocate for women's issues, social justice, and environmental causes, Brenda has produced award-winning projects showcased at prestigious film festivals and on platforms like Showtime. She has led TigerLily through numerous industry challenges, including the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, expanding into new areas like animation and event content.

 

Brenda’s career began in casting and talent management, and her natural leadership skills quickly propelled her into production. Inspired by mentors and driven by a relentless pursuit of creativity and innovation, Brenda continues to push the boundaries of storytelling while making a lasting impact on both the industry and society.

Dr. Sayra Sievert

Dr. Sievert has been a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Jacksonville since the summer of 2000.

 

Dr. Sievert graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During that time, she was inducted into The Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest honor attainable at the University of Miami. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine during which time she also served as the Student President of the Medical School. She completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University where she was elected Chief Resident by the staff and received various awards, including Best Teaching Resident.

 

Dr. Sievert met her husband, Paul, in medical school, and upon completing their residencies, they relocated to Jacksonville where Paul grew up. Sayra then began her career in private practice in Jacksonville. She practiced both obstetrics and gynecology for 22 years and now focuses solely on gynecology. Paul currently practices gastroenterology with the University of Florida. Sayra and Paul have three children; two who are in college and one who is about to start medical school. Sayra’s personal interests include playing tennis, watching movies, playing with her dog and traveling. She is also fluent in Spanish.

 

Personal Philosophy

I believe that one of the most important things we can do for our patients is to really listen to them. I have always felt that one of my strongest attributes in medicine is that I am a good listener and I like to connect with other people. I try to make my patients always feel comfortable when they talk to me.

Staci Spanos has been a proud part of Channel 4 since 1997, having come to Jacksonville from a reporting/anchoring job in Lubbock, Texas.

 

In that time she has reported on the Jacksonville City Council, Duval County School Board, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, and was also on the front lines of Election 2000 and 2004.

 

Staci has also covered local issues arising from the attacks on Sept. 11, anchored coverage for the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the capture of Saddam Hussein, and the tragedy of the Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003.

 

Staci is co-anchored Channel 4's The Morning Show, a fast-paced blend of news, interviews and feature stories, through June 2013, when she stepped into a new role, producing special reports and other contributions to TMS.

 

Staci is proud to call the University of Florida her alma mater. She graduated there with a degree in telecommunication in 1994. Among her most fulfilling accomplishments is being a mother to a daughter and son and a wife to her husband, Tom.
