First game in franchise history will be in front of a packed house
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (October 6, 2017) - The Jacksonville Icemen have announced the inaugural home opener on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. against the Orlando Solar Bears at Veterans Memorial Arena has been sold out.
“We are so thankful to our fans, our corporate and media partners, the Jax media, our entire organization and SMG/City of Jacksonville for all playing key roles in selling out our first game more than a week before we drop the puck,” said Icemen president Bob Ohrablo. “We now look forward to putting on a great show on the ice and in the stands.”
The doors will be open at 6:30 p.m. for Saturday's game. Game day information, including details on parking, will be sent out to fans next week. Fans are encouraged to join the team at 5pm for Fan Fest outside the arena.
Don't miss out on the Icemen's next home game Saturday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Arena. Tickets are selling fast!
