The Jacksonville Icemen have sent defenseman Michael Webster to the Allen Americans in exchange for forward Tanner Eberle, the club announced today.
In 11 games this season with the Allen Americans, Eberle collected three points (2G-1A) and has a +1 rating. The 23-year-old is in his fourth ECHL season, spending three with Allen and one season with the Quad City Mallards in 2015-16. Prior to the ECHL, Eberle played 11 games in the AHL from 2014-16 between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Iowa Wild.
The Regina, Saskatchewan native started his junior career with the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL) where he made four appearances. From 2010-15, Eberle spent five seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the WHL. In 270 games with the club, Eberle scored 80 times and notched 92 assists for 172 points.
