After a seven-game road stretch, the Jacksonville Icemen (25-35-4-3, 57 pts.) return home tonight to host the South Carolina Stingrays (44-15-6-1, 95 pts.) in a pair of home games.
South Carolina comes into tonight's game on a five-game win streak, while Jacksonville is looking to snap a three-game skid. The two teams last met on March 11 in South Carolina when the Icemen began their recent road stint, resulting in a 6-3 Jacksonville loss. Overall, the Stingrays own the series 6-2-0-0.
Keep an eye on Dajon Mingo tonight, as he has been the most successful Icemen against the Stingrays this season with five points (3G, 2A) in six games. Another Icemen notable, Tanner Eberle, is riding a five-game point streak and continues to be a top scorer for Jacksonville with 28 points (17G, 11A) in 58 games.
The two-game series will be the last meeting for the teams this season. It's Youth Sports Weekend at Veterans Memorial Arena where youth athletes are invited on the ice after the game to shoot a puck like the Icemen. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets here.
