Jacksonville, FL– The Jacksonville Icemen, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, announced today defenseman Justin Woods has signed an amateur tryout with the Moose.
Woods, 24, joined the Icemen earlier this month fresh off a successful collegiate career with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (NCAA) where he accumulated 47 points (18G, 29A) in 133 games. The Fairbanks, AK native posted seven points (3G, 4A) and a plus-three rating in just eight games for the Icemen.
