Jacksonville’s Cam Maclise scored just over one minute into the game, but the fast-start soon fizzled out as Florida piled on three goals in the first period. Tanner Jaillet relieved Mikhail Berdin midway through the second period, stopping 11 of 12 shots. Maclise would score again in the third, but it was too late as Florida handed Jacksonville it’s first back-to-back losses of the season.
