JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets and AHL’s Manitoba Moose announced Wednesday that goaltender Ken Appleby has been reassigned to the team by Winnipeg (NHL) from Manitoba (AHL).
Appleby, 23, returns to the Icemen where he has posted a 7-7-0 record, with a 2.45 goals-against average and a 0.923 save percentage and one shutout this season. The 6-4, 210-pound netminder has recorded a a 3.92 goals-against average, a 0.884 save percentage and one shutout in ten appearances with Manitoba this season. The North Bay, Ont. native made three appearances with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils last season registering a record of 0-1-0, with a 1.45 goals-against average and 0.945 save percentage.
