JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets and AHL’s Manitoba Moose, announced Friday that the team has added several minority partners to its ownership team, all of whom are Jacksonville residents. Today’s announcement further ensures that the Icemen organization will remain 100-percent locally owned.
The Icemen proudly welcome the following distinguished community leaders as its new minority partners:
Dr. Ali Chahlavi, MD, a neurosurgeon at Ascension St. Vincent Jacksonville.
Dr. Georgia Gianakakos, a neurologist at Specialists on Call
Daniel Murphy, a three-time Major League Baseball All-Star; Played baseball for Englewood High School and Jacksonville University.
Bob Ohrablo, the founding partner and President of the Icemen.
Marcus Rowe, Resident Director/Financial Advisor at Merril
In July, the Icemen introduced Jacksonville resident Andrew Kaufmann has the team’s Majority Owner and CEO.
