About Today’s Game: The two teams meet tonight in a key matchup with playoff implications. The Icemen are now in a position where they will need to win their remaining three games to have a chance at clinching a playoff spot. In addition, the Icemen will need some other games around the league to go in their favor. If the Icemen win their remaining three games, the following scenarios would also need to take place for Jacksonville to clinch a playoff spot:
A win by Wheeling over South Carolina tonight in regulation, would mean the Icemen would need South Carolina to defeat Orlando on Thursday night. However, if South Carolina wins tonight, the Icemen would need a regulation win this evening, and would then need Orlando to defeat South Carolina on Thursday.
Series History: The two teams have met 13 times this season and the Icemen have taken seven of those match-ups (7-3-2-1). Orlando leads the All-Time series 31-10-3-0

In addition, Williams is third in minutes played with 2,160….Forward Ara Nazarian continues to lead the Icemen in scoring with 49 points and has scored five goals in his last five games….Trevor Hamilton ranks 12th among defensemen with 31 points this season.
About the Solar Bears: Aaron Luchuk leads the league in scoring with 72 points. Luchuk also leads the Solar Bears in scoring against Jacksonville this season with 13 points (5g, 8a)…..Forwards Nikita Pavlychev and Tristin Langan both enter tonight’s game riding a three-game goal scoring streak…..Orlando ranks third on the penalty kill on the road at 86.0 percent (33-for-236)….Earlier today, defenseman Matthew Spencer was named the ECHL Player of the Week, after recording seven points with two game-winning goals last week.
