About Tonight’s Game: The Jacksonville Icemen return to game action after hosting the 2022 ECHL All-Star Classic on Monday. The Icemen have appeared in just one regular season game in the last 16 days (January 15 at Atlanta). Despite generating a season high 43 shots on net, the Icemen fell in last Friday’s game 2-1 in overtime. The Icemen’s last regulation defeat came on January 1 in a 1-0 decision against South Carolina. The Icemen currently sit in second place in the South Division, just one point back of the Florida Everblades. Meanwhile the Stingrays, are fifth in the division and enter tonight’s game having won back-to-back contests.
Series History: The Icemen lead the season series 6-2-0-1, while also leading the All-Time series by a slim margin of 26-22-0-3.
About the Icemen: Abbott Girduckis has accrued 12 points (2g, 10a) in his last eight games…..Rookie defenseman Jacob Panetta has scored a goal in each of his last three games….The Icemen leads the league with a 2.34 goals-against per game average….Earlier today, the Icemen officially announced that the team has acquired forward Dominick Sacco off waivers from the Stingrays and have acquired forward Brendan Harris from the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations.

Kirwin joins fellow newcomers Christian Stead (G) and Ryan Orgel (D) as the new additions to the South Carolina roster….The Stingrays are 8-3-3 in one-goal games.
