JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Iowa Wild, announced their full promotional schedule for the 2026-27 season on Friday.

The Icemen will once again bring a family-friendly lineup of promotional nights that also caters to different themes and interests for fans. Several staple nights such as Teddy Bears Toss (December 12), Lizard Kings Weekend (March 19-20), and Pucks and Paws Night (November 13 & March 20) will all return to the promo lineup, while fun local-flavored nights like Rex Night (January 16) and Hockey is for Everyone Night (February 13) round out the lineup.

Jacksonville will also be wearing specialty jerseys all season long on Publix Family Fundays (all Sunday games) and select Community First Credit Union games. These jerseys will be auctioned off later in the season.

The following is the Icemen’s 2026-27 Promotional Night Schedule (please note additional promos may be added throughout the season):

• Opening Night & WHITE OUT Night (10/16)
  • Join us for Opening Night for the start of our tenth anniversary season against the South Carolina Stingrays. Wear white as we white out Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena to open a new era of Icemen hockey!
• Halloween Night (10/31)
  • A spooky night of fun is to be had with the Icemen’s Halloween celebration!
• School Day (11/03)
  • Have a fun-filled day with us for our School Day on November 3! During this special 10:30 am game, students will learn about the exciting game of hockey in a classroom like no other!
• 10 Year Celebration (11/7)
  • Join us for a 10-year celebration of Icemen hockey, presented by Community First Credit Union! Details coming soon!
• Pucks & Paws (11/13)
  • Bring your furry friend for Pucks & Paws night, presented by Forever Vets Animal Hospital. Stay tuned during the intermissions for Raining Cats & Dogs and a dog race on the ice. Your pups will have a designated potty area, thanks to Liberty Landscape Supply. More ticket information will be available soon!
• Lunas Vs Sirens (11/14)*
  • It’s Jacksonville vs Savannah for Women in Sports Night! Join us and cheer on the Jacksonville Lunas women’s youth hockey team as they take on their contemporaries from Georgia, the Savannah Sirens! Both teams will wear specialty jerseys.
• Cars Night (11/20)*
  • Speed… We are Speed! Channel your inner Lightning McQueen for Cars Night, presented by the Norlee Group. It’ll be a fast-paced night with specialty jerseys and a full CARS takeover! Specialty jerseys will be worn by the team and auctioned off after the game.
• Gobble Wobble (11/25)
  • Gobble Gobble! Get your wobble on at the Icemen game on Wednesday, November 25! Join us pre-game for an hour of drinks and snacks as we celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family! More ticket information will be available soon!
• Wizard Night (12/4)*
  • Calling all wizards! Join us for Wizard Night presented by Lee and Cates! We’ll have quidditch on the ice, and players will wear jerseys representing their respective houses. Don’t miss out on a magical evening with the Icemen! Specialty jerseys will be worn by the team and auctioned off after the game.
• Kids Takeover Night (12/5)
  • It’s Kids Takeover Night, presented by Charter Schools USA, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena! During this special event, children will step into game-day operations to work as arena DJs, broadcasters, photographers, and in-game hosts! Plus, don’t miss Hockey and Hanukkah Night as we celebrate the first day of Hanukkah.
• Ugly Sweater (12/11)
  • Join us for Ugly Sweater Night and Sing For Santa in December! Sport your ugliest holiday sweater for a contest and enjoy the Icemen Experience this holiday season! More ticket information will be available soon!
• Teddy Bear Toss (12/12)
  • Get ready to toss your teddy bears, presented by Community First Credit Union! On Teddy Bear Toss night, we encourage all fans to bring multiple teddy bears to throw onto the ice after the Icemen’s first goal. All teddy bears that are collected will be donated to local children’s charities and organizations, including the Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville.
• Margaritaville (12/30)*
  • Calling all snowbirds! It may be cold up north, but it’s a beautiful day for hockey down here in Jacksonville! Enjoy Margarita night with specialty themed jerseys worn by the Icemen and more!
• New Year's (12/31)
  • Let’s celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Icemen on Thursday, December 31!
• Book Club (1/14)
  • Don’t miss a fun night of reading and hockey dedicated to the Jacksonville Icemen Book Club!
• Rex Night (1/16)*
  • Walk like a dinosaur on January 16 as we honor Rex, the Jacksonville icon! The Icemen will be wearing specialty themed jerseys against the Atlanta Gladiators!
• Star Wars Night (1/23)*
  • Blast off to a galaxy far, far away! It’s Star Wars Night and your favorite characters will be in attendance. Take advantage of special lightsaber ticket packages as your Icemen don specialty jerseys to battle the South Carolina Stingrays! Don’t forget to bring your boy or girl scout troop for Scout Night as well!
• Mascot Games (2/5)
  • It’s going to be a night of mascot madness as Fang and all of his friends take over the rink! Mascot Games presented by Showtime Sports Cards & Collectibles, where your favorite local mascots will be competing during an Intermission. High antics and tons of laughs make this a night you don’t want to miss! The Icemen will also be wearing specialty Cancer Awareness jerseys.
• School Day (2/11)
  • Have a fun-filled day with us for our School Day on February 11! During this special 10:30 am game, students will learn about the exciting game of hockey in a classroom like no other!
• Cancer Awareness (2/12)*
  • The Icemen will be honoring those who have fought and are fighting cancer on Cancer Awareness Night. We will be hosting a luminaria ceremony to honor all and the Icemen will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
• Hockey Is For Everyone (2/13)
  • The Icemen are celebrating Hockey Is For Everyone as we promote inclusion on and off the ice! More ticket information will be available soon!
• Military Appreciation Weekend (2/24 & 2/27 & 2/28)*
  • Join the Icemen for Military Appreciation Weekend as we honor Veterans and those currently serving. With the help of local companies, we will provide complimentary tickets to all military personnel and veterans. The Icemen will be sporting military-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off.
• St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (3/17)*
  • Time for a little luck of the Irish as we take on the Greensboro Gargoyles for our St. Patrick’s Day Celly! Don’t forget to wear your green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us!
• Lizard Kings (3/19 & 3/20)*
  • Party like it’s 1995 with us for Lizard Kings Weekend! Cold-blooded jerseys will be available for auction! Plus, Saturday night is another pucks and paws night, presented by Forever Vets, and our annual Guns ‘N Hoses game at 3:00 pm. More ticket information will be available soon!
• Fan Appreciation Weekend & Award Show (4/10 & 4/11)
  • The Icemen will celebrate the best fans in the ECHL during Fan Appreciation Weekend, presented by Community First Credit Union. Come early as we host the Icemen Award Show on Sunday to find out the Icemen’s fan favorite and more!
