JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Iowa Wild, announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jacques Bouquot for the 2026-27 season.
Bouquot, 26, was acquired by the Icemen last season in a multi-player trade on February 23 with the Toledo Walleye. Bouquot played 21 games for Jacksonville in 2026, earning one goal and five assists (six points) to his total. Columbus, Ohio native, ended the 2025-26 campaign with four goals and 14 assists for 18 points.
Now entering his fourth professional season, the 6-2, 190-pound Bouquot has seen ECHL action with the Toledo Walleye and the Reading Royals from 2024 to 2026 while also playing one game in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He has 30 points (six goals, 24 assists) in 78 ECHL games played. Before starting his professional career, Bouquot played five years of NCAA Division I College hockey. Four of those seasons were with the University of Vermont (2019-2023), where he spent his last season as the Catamounts’ captain before transferring to Penn State University for his final season of eligibility. In 143 games at the collegiate level, Bouquot garnered 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points.
