JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Iowa Wild, announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward AJ Schlepp for the 2026-27 season.
Schlepp, 27, is coming off a standout season in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), where he played for the Port Huron Prowlers and the Biloxi Breakers for 37 games, garnering 342 penalty minutes and two points (one goal and one assist). The 6’8, 209-pound native of Medicine Hat, Alberta played two games in the ECHL last season with the Worcester Railers; he had 12 penalty minutes.
