JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Iowa Wild unveiled three new game jersey concepts this evening at an event that took place at the Community First Igloo.
In July, the Icemen introduced a fierce new rebrand to the team’s primary logo which is represented by a yeti-like creature, which was complemented along with several secondary and tertiary logos. The new team colors include iceberg blue, black and snow.
The Icemen will head into their 10th Anniversary Season with the three new jersey designs with the base colors of gray, black and white (snow).
The new gray jersey features the new primary logo with the iceberg blue and black accents scattered throughout.
The black jersey features the full-body design of the yeti-like creature with the iceberg blue accent at the base of the jersey.
The team’s white jersey will also be worn with white pants, helmets and gloves to complete an iced-out look for the Icemen.
“This rebrand is about more than a new look - it's a reflection of how much this community has embraced the Icemen over the last decade,” said Icemen CEO Andy Kaufmann. “As we head into our 10th Anniversary Season, we wanted a brand that truly represents the city and the fans who've supported us every step of the way. We look forward to seeing these jerseys in action on the ice this season.”
The jerseys are presented this season by the Norlee Group. Norlee Group’s logo will be featured as a patch on the jersey.
“I’ve loved hockey since I was a kid, and one of the things I’ve always admired about the sport is the camaraderie,” said Norlee Group CEO Wally Budgell. “The way a team comes together, works hard for one another, and brings people together in the process. Those are values we share at Norlee Group. We’re incredibly proud to have the NLG name on the Icemen jersey this season and to support a team that represents the same grit, teamwork, and sense of community that we strive for every day.”
