JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Iowa Wild, announced today that forwards Drew Kuzma and Blake Biondi, along with defenseman Reilly Webb, have been assigned to Jacksonville by the Iowa Wild. Defensemen Jaden Condotta and forwards Will Hillman and Brandon Yeamans were released from their training camp try-out contracts with the Wild as well. All six men will be available for Icemen training camp beginning on October 5.
Kuzma, 23, played 13 games for the Greensboro Gargoyles in the ECHL last season while recording five goals and three assists for eight points. 6-6, 218 lb native of St. Albert, Alberta, he played four years of NCAA college hockey at Lindenwood University from 2022-2-26. Eventually rising to be the team’s captain his senior season.
Biondi, 24, brings both size and experience to the Icemen this season. A former 4th-round draft pick (109th OVR) by the Montreal Canadiens in 2020, Biondi is a veteran of 36 AHL contests with the Chicago Wolves from 2025-2026, scoring three goals for Chicago’s Western Conference championship squad. Last season, Biondi suited up for 27 games with the Greensboro Gargoyles, netting 11 goals, 14 assists for 25 points in the ECHL. Biondi is a five-year veteran of the NCAA Division I ranks having spent four years with the University of Minnesota-Duluth and one year with the University of Notre Dame.
Hillman, 25, collected 13 points (7g, 6a) in 23 games played last season for the Icemen. Hillman also added 17 points with the Toledo Walleye, bringing his rookie season total to a balanced 30 points (15g, 15a). The Icemen acquired Hillman in a trade with Toledo on February 23. Hillman stands tall at 6-2, 203 pounds and hails from Blaine, Minnesota.
Yeamans, 28, is a veteran of five seasons in the ECHL, first entering the league in 2022 with the Cincinnati Cyclones. Yeamans returns to Jacksonville after a brief stint with the Icemen during the 2022-23 campaign, where he starred in 23 games. The Maple, Ontario native has also enjoyed ECHL stops in Florida (2022-23), Allen (2023-24), Rapid City (2023-24), Iowa (2024-25), Norfolk (2024-25) and, most recently, Bloomington, where he played for a single game in 2024-25 and 63 games as the Bison’s assistant captain in 2025-26. In total, Yeamans has played in 223 ECHL contests and has accumulated 468 penalty minutes, along with 35 points (20 goals, 15 assists).
Webb, 27, is a former 6th-round draft pick (164th OVR) by the Detroit Red Wings in 2017. The 6-4, 201-pound native of Stoney Creek, Ontario, boasts 16 games of AHL experience with the Hershey Bears in 2026. Icemen fans may know Webb as a key member of the rival South Carolina Stingrays over the past two seasons. Webb has seen action in 105 games for South Carolina from 2024-2026, scoring five goals, adding 16 assists, and posting a +29 rating from the Stingray blueline. Webb played four years of Canadian University hockey with Acadia University from 2020-2023 following a six-year junior career in the OHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Saginaw Spirit.
Condotta, 25, returns for a second season with the Icemen after posting 13 points (2g, 11a) with a team-leading 68 penalty minutes in 65 games played during his rookie season last season. Condotta made his pro debut with the Indy Fuel in the spring of 2025, appearing in two games. Before Indy, the 6-0, 195-pound blueliner finished a productive final season at Toronto Metropolitan University, collecting 23 points (5g, 18a) in 28 games. Condotta also played one collegiate season at Aurora, where he registered 14 points (6g, 8a) in 29 games. While at Aurora, he was named to the NCAA Division III (NCHA) All-Conference team and All-Freshman team for the 2022-23 season.
