Manitoba Moose Recall Colton Phinney

The Jacksonville Icemen, in conjunction with their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today the Moose have recalled goaltender Colton Phinney from the Icemen.

Phinney, 24, is in his first season of professional hockey.  The Chatham, N.J. product owns a 3-7-1 record with a 3.49 goals against average and a 0.878 save percentage in 15 appearances with Jacksonville.  Prior to his professional career, Phinney spent four seasons at Princeton University where he played in 110 games, compiling a record of 27-74-9 with a 3.10 goals against average and 0.912 save percentage.

The Icemen take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits tonight at 7:30 p.m. from Veterans Memorial Arena. Tonight is also the start of Faith & Family Weekend, and American Idol star, Colton Dixon, will be performing live after the game. Click here to get your tickets!
