For the third straight game, Sam Warning struck first for Florida at the 14:00 mark in the first period. Jacksonville spent most of the opening frame in their own defensive zone, as the 'Blades out-shot the Icemen 11-3.
In the second period, both goalies led the way to keep the score at 1-0 in favor of the 'Blades. Goalie Austin Lotz stopped all nine shots from Florida and Martin Ouellette continued his phenomenal season with seven saves in the second.
There hasn't been an Icemen player more on a roll than Tanner Eberle these last ten games. The forward continued his solid play with the game-tying goal at 7:02 in the third period. The tally marked his ninth point in the last ten games. Minutes later, the 'Blades would respond in a flurry as they scored three goals on Denis Tsaruk in less than three minutes to take the game, 4-1.
