The Jacksonville Icemen, proud affiliate of the NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose, today announced that rookie goaltender Mikhail Berdin has been reassigned to Jacksonville from Manitoba. Berdin spent three games with the Moose while Eric Comrie traveled to Finland with the Jets as a non-roster player. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Ufa, Russia product was spectacular in his time with the Moose going 3-0 with a 0.941 save percentage. His 1.92 goals-against average is ranked fourth in the AHL. Berdin joins the Icemen ahead of a 10:30 a.m. road game in Orlando tomorrow. Jacksonville returns home for it's own 10:30 a.m. contest on Thursday against South Carolina where 9,000 kids will cheer on the Icemen in their annual School Day Game.
