Icemen Sellout Opening Night for Third Consecutive Season

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets and AHL’s Manitoba Moose, announced today that this Saturday’s home opener against Greenville presented by Rimrock/Devlin is officially sold out.  Today’s announcement marks the third consecutive season that the Icemen have sold out their home opening game.

“We are so grateful for the tremendous support we receive from the City of Jacksonville, our fans and our corporate partners,” said Icemen President & Partner Bob Ohrablo.  “A sellout on opening night is an exciting way to officially drop the puck on our season. We expect big things this year both on and off the ice, and our organization is looking forward to getting started.”

Following Saturday’s home opener, the team’s next home contest is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30 against the Atlanta Gladiators.  Full and partial season ticket packages as well as discounted group tickets remain on sale.   Call 904-602-7825 or visit www.jacksonvilleicemen.com for more information.
