JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Icemen announced Thursday the team’s complete schedule for the 2019-2020 regular season. In addition, the team announced two changes to the previously announced home schedule.
The Icemen will play a 72-game regular season schedule (36 home, 36 away). The team will play a family friendly home schedule comprised of nine Wednesday games, two Thursday games, eight Friday games, 12 Saturday games and five Sunday afternoon contests. All Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday games will begin at 7:00 p.m. while Sunday afternoon games begin at 3:05 p.m. The November 14 game against Atlanta is slated for a 10:30 a.m. start time.
The team also announced two changes to its home schedule that was first announced in May. The Wednesday, December 18 home game against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits will now be played on Saturday, March 28 against the Cincinnati Cyclones. In addition, the Friday, March 27 home game against Greenville will now be played against the Cincinnati.
The Icemen will open the 2019-2020 season at home on Saturday, October 12 against Grenenville. In addition to featuring games with all South Division foes, the home schedule also includes several teams making their first appearances at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena as the North Division’s Adirondack Thunder and Worcester Railers, the Western Conference’s Indy Fuel, Fort Wayne Komets and Cincinnati Cyclones will all make trips to Jacksonville.
